Since I have no other way to cool it, I simply have the side cover ripped off. And I figured since it was open anyway, might as well make it pretty.
You’re going to ask why I can’t cool it properly, so I’ll tell you. The case is one of those mini-Vaios and is totally unmodifiable. The fact that I was able to add a couple of things like a second drive (which it wasn’t designed to take, thus the heat problem) and a better sound card is nothing short of a miracle.
