Darcy’s drawings are awesome. I think this is supposed to be a “sea monster,” but I suppose it could also be me before my morning cup of tea, or what the artist resembles when she really needs a nap but refuses to take one (which is always).

Twin looking at an ad in a magazine: “Deeda…” (this is what the twins call my husband instead of ‘daddy’).
“Yes?”
“Why is this mommy in the kitchen? Why isn’t she on the computer?”

As you can see, I decided to put a little more effort into Darcy’s ghost costume, instead of the usual white-sheet with a couple of eye holes. No, it’s a white sheet with sleeves! Hooray! The girls have apparently looked at a calendar and noticed that it was July and the start of the blessed Halfway-to-Four mark.

Done that…and fortunately, we’re not doing it as much as last year.
