So the visit with my sister and her kidlets went great, and her (re)impressions of California can be summed up as follows:
We seem to have fewer fat people
The sun is much brighter
Nobody wears real shoes
Our highways sparkle in the sun
We had some adventure around San Francisco before heading south to my county, including visits to [...]

They thought it would be cute/fun to throw these on the dining room lamp. Good thing we discovered them before we left the house.

Today was my first job interview in about five years. I had applied for a job across town that sounded promising; according to their description, they were just some people that needed help with webby stuff in addition to a bit of clerical stuff. Webby stuff! Hey, that’s me!
