Adventures in Modern Computing
The chipset fan in my main machine finally decided to die this past week. This led to many wonderful adventures in modern computing, like rebuilding the whole thing from the case up twice, having to get the new fan ground down at the computer shop because it was touching a power post, and the boot drive getting completely borked.
So I am using the crappy old laptop I inherited from my mom. And that will be my companion for the next several weeks because we’re going to the east coast for the remainder of the month.
Anyway, this is my way of saying if you sent me an email this past week that wasn’t to a Gmail address, it has been vaporized…sorry.
Have a great Thanksgiving! I’ll be shivering with the girls in Joisey.
P.S. There has been talk of getting a pet after we return. Though I am opening up to the idea, I still have my reservations.
