They thought it would be cute/fun to throw these on the dining room lamp. Good thing we discovered them before we left the house.

I imagine the smell of broiled stuffed animal flesh was enough to drive you from the house after discovering them!

JEEEEZUS. Things to look forward to… mental note to check all light fixtures before leaving the house once Erick can actually throw things that high *sigh*.

Thank goodness everyone is okay. When I first saw the picture I was like … “OMG! What happened to those mice/rat toys???!!!” … but thank goodness they were the only things harmed.

We had a similar situation a couple of years ago when our son decided to take his turtle lamp and take the “shell” tiffany top off of it. He turned it over on the rug in his room and with the light bulb on of course, it singed the rug. Yikes! Thank goodness nothing else happened! ;)
