Hacked?

If you are getting messages to install something and all these crazy windows popping up, it’s not me, it’s a trojan. DON’T install anything. I am frantically calling my host right now…I think I’ve been hacked.

Update: The problem would appear to be the .wmf exploit. Here’s five facts about it, a little tool that checks to see if your system is vulnerable, and the patch…if you’re running Windows, you would be wise to get it.

I still don’t exactly know where the assault is coming from or why it seems to have stopped for the moment, and my hosting people are equally confused. Sigh…this may take a while.

Update II: I found the code that’s doing it. It’s not present in anything I am sending over, so somehow it is getting added…I’m still investigating.

By the way…my hypnotist appointment? Fucking AWESOME. More on that later.

At the risk of sounding like an obsessed fan, were you in Costco with your girls yesterday? I thought I recognized you, but didn’t want to seem psycho by introducing myself…

Ha ha, yes that was us. We’re hard to miss, I guess :)
