Ugh, mosquitoes. Don't blame yourself, though. You couldn't have known right away -- there are so many things that could cause a kid or two to sleep poorly. On the subject of bug bites, my son came back from his dad's house a coupla months ago with at least 25 flea bites, most of which were in his underwear area. Horrifying, and I had to deal with the miserable kid scratching and crying in his sleep. At least you have control of your situation. ;^)

The guy at the post office sounds like a real...gem. And good luck with the flu situation! Biiig huuugs! ;^)

I actually have an HP, a $500 W4l-M4rt HP that I picked up on clearance for $350.

It was a lovely machine, once it had a sound card, video card, modem, additional USB ports, memory upgrades, and a complete wipe of the hard drive with full non-HP OS and software installation. Oh, and it got a new motherboard and processor last summer.

Shoulda built one . . . or did I? :)

Have you tried putting it on eBay, with a reserve and buy-it-now price of $7-800?

Glad you're doing better!! It figures out of all the motherboards you bought, you'd get one that had a malfunction. That sorta thing seems to always happen to me.

I have an HP, and it sucks ass. I think your motherboard-fried puter probably runs better, even if it doesn't turn on. Not to worry, I'm sure the company will uphold your warranty. Good luck.
