So it’s true: Flickr sold out to Yahoo. (Wired story - see botttom). I hope it stays as cool as it is right now.

Finally fixed the hideously messed up search results page and added and archives page. Reinstated the shameless greed list as well, which had been on hiatus since last fall, I think. Doing all this in Moveable Type was about as painful as I thought it would be, but whatever, they’re done.

Two people coming over today to look at the computers I have for sale. Ok, two guys. All I’ve gotten is calls from guys. Several have actually said how surprised they were that it was a GIRL doing all this, a GIRL building computers, and talking to a GIRL about computer parts. Maybe I should paint Hello Kitties on the systems before they come over.

My home network and internet connection is still going down randomly and now more often. I have to constantly reset the router to get it to come back, and it’s really getting old. I don’t really know what’s wrong, but maybe it’s time for a new router. Even better, my backup hard drive–the one with ALL my twin photos and MP3s–is making an ominous clicking noise. There goes all my computer sale profits. Grrrr.

Hey, stop living my life! I was just complaining that “this dsl and wireless network thing is really fast if you don’t count all the time spent running back and forth to reboot the router!” But we messed with it and moved it and all is groovy. I think I have a spare router I could toss your way in that freebie box of goodies that came with my free laptop. E-mail me if you decide to go that route. (Get it? That route?)
