Running a business would be so much easier without them, wouldn't it? The hardest part is always getting people to pay, and this remains the case no matter what size your business, no matter how successful. My company has to employ about 6 people just to chase the money, it's amazing. Used to know a builder; the nice thing about being a builder is that you tend to produce something tangible. This guy, when the customer wouldn't pay, used to go round with a sledge hammer and just knock down whatever it was he'd built. That brick wall you won't pay for? Gone. Your new conservatory? Gone. Perhaps you should go round and stick a cheese slice in her CD drive? Sheesh, customers. Running a business would be so much easier without them, wouldn’t it?
