69 Saves the Day (Ha)

Yup, the fun is just beginning…Darcy’s been retching all day. She can’t even keep water down. Two down, two to go…and Bruce leaves tomorrow morning. Hmmmmm. I feel just fine so far (fingers crossed).

The business line has been ringing a little! But like a dumbass I forgot to turn off the fax machine connected to the phone line. What I heard on the answering machine was a guy trying to leave his number through the shrill fax-noise squeals, and finally giving up in frustration. My heart just sank when I realized what happened. Fortunately the ol’ *69 saved the day. I called him back overflowing with apologies and soon I may be working on an ailing Windows ME system.

I Fought the Flu and the Flu Won

ohh it is a vomitorium here too! Only 1 kid got it so far, and I was queasy yesterday, but I think it was a cross between a migraine and the fact that I was cleaning up the projectiled mess everywhere (in my bed!!).

the good news, from what I hear is that it blows through really fast, and doesn’t hit everyone. The vomit kid was on his bike this afternoon and no one else has gotten it.

yet.

hang in there!

Weird! I think that’s the variety we have. It’s like a 24-hour flu or something. Or less, even…Darcy was barfing like crazy this morning, and this evening she was going down slides at the park like everything was perfectly fine. Gives me hope.

Good luck with finals!

btw: I checked out your business website, and let me tell you, I’m impressed. I mean not with what you can do, because I figured that out minutes after meeting you. What is MOST impressive is that you didn’t say “fuck”, not even once (!!!) anywhere on your website!

Glad Darcy is feeling better - it’s like speed vomit, then gone. If you have to hurl, might as well be that way.

Thanks! It wasn’t easy…”Microsoft” and “fuck” almost always belong in the same sentence together!
