Having spent only a short time there (and yet, having been thoroughly enthralled), the most remarkable views i encountered in CO were those from the mountain peaks. 14,000 ft up in the thin air and clouds and the jagged landscape around you looks positively Dali-esque, except it is you, not the pointed mountains, that are surreal there. i might encourage C, yourself, readers, et al to drag there cameras up HiGh if you go.
