Intermission

Pardon the intermission…I’m working on my small-business website and fighting CSS again. Ugh.

Got some new photos up, though. Check out the “Oops” series…somebody forgot to check their anchor!

Update: No longer will there be any whining about being ipodless!

so is your new ipod a personal purchase, a gift or did you win it? spill it!

A purchase…my first check from my new business evaporated in about five hours! I love it. (Not sure I love iTunes as much, though).

Congratulations!!! Welcome to the secret cult of iPod users. Embrace the newness, love the slow, steady march toward being a full-blown Mac Geek! :)

If you didn’t already know, there are a ton of websites out there dedicated to iPodding. Some are: http://www.ipoding.com (or course), http://www.iPodhacks.com, http://www.ipodlounge.com, and it is always handy to check macrumors.com or engadget.com for news of tasty new iPod things. (Although, it might NOT be a good idea to check the rumor-mills too soon after your purchase, as you probably would rather be blissfully ignorant when a totally new, cheaper version of the iPod you just bought comes out–I know I do)

So whatcha get? From the photo it looks like a 20gigger! If so, good choice! (Well, I would say that about anything you got, because all of them have their good points!)

As for iTunes, embrace it. I know Windows people get a little itchy with the Mac-way of doing things, however the easiest way to use Mac software is to find out how it likes to do things and sort of stick to that. Usually I find that the Apple-way is the way I usually choose to do things, but when coming from the PC side, where there is an illusion of ultimate configurability, it is often a little strange to just accept that a program is designed the best way possible right off the bat. But trust me, iTunes is a remarkably good application (albiet fairly basic in a couple of aspects) and is only getting better as time goes on.

If you have any questions about the software or the iPod, just let me know. However, I really doubt you will find anything too difficult to figure out (they spend a LOT of extra time making everything as simple as possible… the way it SHOULD be.)

:)

The blue bunny pic is hilarious. ;)

Best of luck on the small business website. :)
