The Other Side
Ever wonder what it would be like to be on the other side?
People in Newport are much too busy shopping at Prada to care about a Kerry supporter. He should have gone a little further south with that shirt on for his experiement; in my old neighborhood he would have his tires slashed in no time.
If he’d worn a shirt with this image on it, he could expect to have the tires sold to somebody in Tijuana and his car burned.
Just kidding. They wouldn’t really burn his car–just whack it really hard with the doors of their Jags.

Yea, I was just in Newport doing a gig this weekend and I was amazed at how few Bush signs I saw. Even here in Lakewood, home of many, many evangelicals
the displays are few. Either people are too busy, or there really is uncertainty about the guy, even among conservatives. I know I have a very conservative friend
in Irvine whose criticism of Bush is even more blistering than any of my progressive friends.
